July 2001 : After the split of the french band YUUL , guitarists Michel, Régis and bassist Ghislain decided to form a new band.With the arrival of german vocalist Damien Grey the line up is completed. New songs are written and older YUUL songs are re-processed. The music has become darker, and the lyrics are now in English. ARTS OF EREBUS are born !
After one year of intensive work, ten songs emerge and are ready to fill their first album “Negative White”, recorded in their own studio. The band is signed by SONORIUM records and the LP is mastered in Frankfurt at the Sonic-x studios. Available in June 2003, their work is appreciated by both press and public, a public they reach through several concerts across Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg and France.
During this time Stephane joined the band as live keyboarder.One year later he will become a full member of the band. Summer 2005 is the period when Ghislain leaves the band, due to professionnal and familial duties.He is quickly replaced by german bassist Thomas. The new line up works hard on new stuff and one year later they have enough songs to enter again in the studio, this time in TS-MUSIX studios in Zweibrucken Germany. The album is called “Icon In Eyes” and is recorded from July through September 2006.
Mixing is going on at this time. The new stuff is amazing and we can’t wait to have it released, it’s planned for December, again on SONORIUM records.

C'est en juillet 2001,sur les cendres du groupe français YUUL,que se forme ARTS OF EREBUS. Lassés des prestations miserables et imbibées de leur chanteur, les trois autres membres décident de former un nouveau groupe.Avec l'arrivée de Damien Grey au chant ,Michel Meneguzzi, le compositeur et Lead guitariste recommence à composer de nouveaux morceaux, des anciens morceaux de YUUL seronts également remaniés.La musique devient plus sombre ,le chant est maintenant en anglais.
Arts of Erebus est né!
Après une année de travail intensif,les dix morceaux qui composent l'album “Negative White” sont prêt.L'album est enregistré dans le studio personel du groupe,et très vite,le groupe décroche un contrat avec le label SONORIUM,qui prendra en charge la production finale de l'album aux Sonic-X Studio (Francfort).L'album sort en juin 2003,il obtient un acceuil plutot encourageant dans la presse spécialisée .Une serie de concerts s'en suit et l'acceuil du public est également très bon.
N'ayant pas de membre fixe aux claviers, ce qui devenait problématique pour les concerts, ARTS OF EREBUS intégra en août 2003 un artiste issu de la scène électro française : Stephane Marchal, alias MARBOSS, qui deviendra, un an plus tard, membre à part entière du groupe. L'été 2005 est marqué par le depart de Ghislain,les obligations familiales et professionnelles ne lui permettant plus d'assurer pleinement son rôle au sein du groupe .Il sera rapidement remplacé par Thomas Steuer,une vieille connaissance du groupe,il s'est d'ailleur deja retrouvé lui aussi,derrieres les claviers,par le passé. Beaucoup de temps c'est écoulé depuis la sortie de “Negative White”,aussi,le groupe,ainsi remanié se mets au travail et commence à travailler sur de nouvelles compositions.
Un an plus tard,le groupe a rassemblé suffisament de morceaux pour entrer en studio,l'enregistrement du nouvel album “ICON IN EYES” débute en juillet 2006 aux studio TS-MUSIX (Zweibrucken/allemagne) et s'achève deux mois plus tard.L'album sort a la fin de l'année toujours chez Sonorium..........
